In this step-by-step guide, we explain how to transfer money to your other Co-operative Bank current or savings accounts, in the app.

To begin, set up your payment

  1. First, log in to the app, and tap 'Pay & Transfer'. Here you can select the account you want to pay the money from.
  2. Then, tap 'Transfer to one of your accounts'.
  3. Now, select the account which you want to sent it to, and decide how much you want to transfer.
  4. Once you've done this, tap 'Continue'.

Next, confirm the details of your payment

  1. You'll be taken to the 'Confirm details' page, where you can review the payment details. If something's not right, you can tap 'Edit' to make the changes.
  2. If the details are correct, tap 'Confirm and pay'.
  3. We'll then process your payment request.

Finally, check if your payment has been successful

  • If your payment is successful

    If successful, you'll see a confirmation message saying that your payment request has been sent.

    When you've finished making your payment, you can tap 'Return to my accounts' to go back to the main screen.

  • If your payment is unsuccessful

    If you've tried to make a payment and it was unsuccessful, we recommend trying again. There are a number of reasons why a payment might be unsuccessful – you can find out more and get extra support in our money transfers guide.

How to make payments to your credit card

To begin, start setting up your payment

  1. First, log in to the app, and tap 'Pay & Transfer'. From here you can select the account you want to pay the money from.
  2. Next, tap 'Make a payment to your credit card'.
  3. Then choose the credit card you want to make a payment to, if you have more than one.

Then, decide how much you want to pay, and confirm the details of your payment

  1. You'll now need to select one of three options when choosing how much you want to pay. Either the minimum payment amount, the full payment amount, or another amount.
  2. If you tap 'Other amount', you'll need to enter the amount you want to pay.
  3. Once you've done this, tap 'Continue'.

Finally, check if your payment has been successful

  • If your payment is successful

    If successful, you'll see a confirmation message saying that your payment request has been sent. Please note, it can take up to two business days for your credit card payment to be processed. Once this happens, it will appear in your recent transactions.

    When you've finished making your payment, you can tap 'Return to my accounts' to go back to the main screen.

  • If your payment is unsuccessful
