What is a Direct Debit?

A Direct Debit is an easy and convenient way for you to pay bills. It's an agreement between you and an organisation or company you want to pay, allowing them to collect varying amounts from your account - but only if you've received details of the amounts and dates of collection in advance.

When do Direct Debits leave my account?

Direct Debits will leave your account on the date you've agreed with the company. Please note that Direct Debits are only processed on working days.

View Direct Debits in online banking

To view Direct Debits in online banking:

• Log in to online banking
• Select 'Scheduled payments'
• Select 'Filter by payment type'
• Select 'Direct Debit'
• You will be able to view your Direct Debits.

View Direct Debits in the mobile app

To view Direct Debits in the mobile app:

• Log in to the mobile app
• Select 'Pay & Transfer'
• Select the account you wish to view
• Select 'View or delete scheduled payments'
• You'll be able to view your Direct Debits.
