Moving home

If you have an existing mortgage, you may be able to take it with you to your new home. We can help you see what options are available to you.

Porting your mortgage

Moving to a new home, while keeping your current Co-operative Bank mortgage deal, is known as ‘porting’.

Porting your existing mortgage across to your new property is subject to our lending criteria and all our usual checks on the property.

Please note: if you choose to take out a new mortgage deal when you purchase a new home, and you're currently on a fixed rate mortgage you will have to pay an early repayment charge. Please contact us on 08000 288 288 to discuss this. Call charges.

Take your mortgage with you to your new home and see what rates are available. On some of our mortgages, we don’t charge product fees.

The Co-operative Bank reserves the right to change or withdraw any of its mortgage deals at any time. All loans are subject to status and valuation.
