Current limits for Personal Savings Allowance

Following the introduction of the Personal Savings Allowance on 6th April 2016, The Co-operative Bank will pay you gross interest on any interest bearing account.

Interest from Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) doesn't count towards your Personal Savings Allowance because it's already tax-free.

Tax certificates and statements of interest

We pay savings interest gross and we no longer send you a tax certificate or a statement of interest each year. You can ask us for:

a tax certificate showing interest paid before April 2016
a statement of interest paid by us from April 2016.
