Our co-operative values have always driven us to make society better for everyone, regardless of sexuality, race, gender or disability. It's a vision of equality that we share with our customers and colleagues.
We have always had a passion for inclusivity in our local communities, where everyone has a place; from small businesses to people that live there.
That's why we're proud to be a sponsor at this year's Manchester Pride Festival.
Our Proud Together network represents our LGBT+ colleagues from across The Co-operative Bank, offering support and information. It's just one of our many colleague networks that ensure inclusion and diversity are at the heart of our working culture.
We spoke to Chris Wilkin, Project Manager and Ambassador of Proud Together, about why inclusivity is so important to how we do business.
This year, the theme for Manchester Pride Parade is 'The future of equality', which aligns with our long history of campaigning for important causes such as inclusion and diversity. Guided by our customers and our co-operative values, we seek to use our influence and resources to improve society for everyone.
