Activate your credit card

New credit card customers and lost or stolen replacement cards

If you’ve received a credit card from us and there’s no sticker on it, this means your card does not require activation. If there is a sticker, please call our credit card activation line on the number on the sticker to activate your card. The number is 0800 576 777.

Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. (call charges)

If you’ve received a credit card for the first time, in order to make payments online you’ll also need to register a Visa Secure password, once you’ve activated your card, by calling us on 0345 600 6000 Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat and Sun 9am-5pm. (More Information)

Expired card replacements

You do not need to activate an expired card replacement.
