We are aware of an issue with verification codes affecting Co-operative Bank and smile online banking. We’re working hard to resolve this. In the meantime, if you’re already registered for mobile banking, you can continue to use the mobile app to access your accounts.

We know this is not the standard that customers expect from us and we are working as quickly as we can. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you need further support, you can contact customer services on 03457 212 212 (call charges apply). Lines are open 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Our automated telephone service is also available 24 hours a day. You’ll be able to use this by calling 03457 212 212 (call charges apply), where you can:

  • Check your balance and recent transactions
  • Make transfers between your accounts
  • Make payments to your credit card(s)

You’ll still be able to continue to use your card in ATMs, shopping online or in-store as normal.
