How do I make payments at the Post Office?

You can make use of the network of Post Office branches to pay in cash and cheques over the counter. Cash can be deposited at any Post Office by debit card or a bar coded paying in envelopes up to a maximum of £10,000 per week (of which a maximum of £250 per day can be coins) without prior arrangement. To deposit cheques, you will need a Post Office cheque deposit envelope, and a non barcoded (style F) paying in book.

There are over 11,500 Post Office branches across the country so there should be a local one near you.
For more information please see our Post office guide.
