Why do I need to update my operating system to be compatible and how do I do it?

To keep your account secure and ensure the best app performance, we’re updating our minimum operating system requirements in our next app release.

Devices running older operating systems will no longer be able to access the app.

To use our mobile app:

  • Apple users will need iOS 16 and above
  • Android users will need version 10 and above

How to update Apple iOS

Go to:

  1. Settings
  2. General
  3. Software Updates

If an update is available, you can choose to 'Install Now' or 'Download and Install'.

How to update Android OS

To update Android OS, go to:

  1. Settings
  2. System
  3. System Update

If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions.

How can I check if my device is compatible with the latest operating system?

If you have an Apple device you can check if it is compatible with iOS 16 on the Apple website.

For Android devices, check the manufacturer’s website.

My device is compatible with the latest operating system, but I cannot update it

Contact your device manufacturer for support:

I cannot update the operating system on my device. Can I continue to use the app?

You’ll need to use another device that is running on a compatible operating system to use the app.

If you cannot use a compatible device, you can use online banking.
