FSB Business Banking Current Account

A unique banking package for Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) members

If you’re a member of FSB, the largest business support organisation in the UK, you can switch to an account designed to do much more to meet all your day-to-day banking needs.

With an FSB Business Banking account, you can take advantage of:

  • No charges for using our everyday banking services
  • Paying in cheques and up to £2,000 cash per month, free of charge. If you need to deposit more cash, you pay 75p per £100 extra.
  • An arranged overdraft facility without an arrangement fee. Subject to application, status and our lending policy. You'll be charged debit interest on your overdrawn balance.
  • Charge card without a monthly card fee. Subject to application, status and our lending policy. Charges may apply.
  • An annual £25 bonus.

    The £25 loyalty bonus is paid every year to FSB Members who maintain an active account. The loyalty bonus will only be paid once a year to each FSB member, irrespective of the number of active accounts maintained. The bonus will not be paid on inactive accounts. An account is deemed to be inactive if no customer initiated transactions have been made for 6 months or more, and there is a debit or credit balance of less than £250.

What you'll need to open an account

Participating providers of UK business bank accounts have agreed to a basic set of information that they will need from you to set up your UK business current account. To apply, you and the key parties need to be:

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Free from County Court Judgements (CCJs), bankruptcy and IVAs over the last 6 years
  • Free from missed payments on any personal credit obligations in the last 6 years
  • A UK resident with a business address in the UK

Your organisation must be a member of the Federation of Small Businesses, and either:

  • A sole trader or a partnership
  • A limited liability partnership
  • A limited company
  • If your organisation is a limited company you must adhere to the following criteria: the directors have never been disqualified, the business has never been subject to insolvency or an intention to dissolve, the business has not had a negative net worth in the last set of financial accounts.
