Planned Maintenance

Saturday 19 Sept from 15:00 until afternoon of Sunday 20 Sept.

Our Business Online Banking and FD Online services will be unavailable during this time. We are in the process of moving customers over to our new online banking service. This will be done in stages and you'll receive an email to advise you before we do this. We do need to take the service down to enable us to move all required information across successfully. Our automated telephone service will be unaffected. We apologise for any inconvenience and advise you to move money or make transfers beforehand.

Future planned maintenance to Business Online Banking and FD Online

Starting in September, we’ll be carrying out a series of essential planned maintenance on our Business Online Banking and FD Online services.

This is the start of our digital transformation plans to improve features and functionality and make sure our services remain reliable and available when you need them most.

We know you rely on our digital services to keep track of your finances, that’s why we’ve scheduled this work to take place at times when we know most of our customers use these services the least.

Planned maintenance will take place over a number of weekends starting on a Saturday evening. We aim to finish our work in November 2020.

What will happen during the planned maintenance?

Whilst we carry out our work, Business Online Banking and FD Online will be temporarily unavailable. You’ll be able to continue to use your debit, charge and purchase cards as normal.

We’ll be keeping you updated as we go and we’ll let you know as soon as it becomes available again.

When will Business Online Banking and FD Online be unavailable?

We’re committed to giving you as much notice as possible to help you plan ahead.

So we’ll be notifying you in advance of each weekend by keeping this page up to date with the specific dates and times, as well as providing updates via our social media channels.

If you have a Relationship Manager, they will also be able to tell you the key dates and times when they are confirmed.

Thank you for your patience whilst we carry out our essential maintenance and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

What can I do to get prepared?

You’ll be able to continue to use your debit, charge and purchase cards as normal.

  • Check your balance
  • Check your last 6 credits an debits
  • Make transfers between your linked accounts

Protect yourself online

  • Keep vigilant when using online banking. The website won’t look any different when logging in, so if you see something unusual – let us know as soon as possible.
  • Avoid using a search engine to access your online bank account. Instead, type in www.co-operativebank.co.uk into the address bar
  • Never tell anyone your token codes, not even us!
  • If somebody calls you and asks you to download something on to your device and then asks you to log in to your account, stop! It’s a scam!
  • Remember, neither the Bank nor the Police will ask you to move you money to another account to keep it safe.
