Cancel a standing order

You have until 9pm on the working day before the payment is due to cancel your standing order. Please note that standing orders can't be cancelled on the day the payment is due.

The easiest way to cancel a standing order is to log into online banking or the mobile app.

To cancel a standing order in online banking

Log into your account and follow these 4 steps:

  • Select 'Scheduled payments'
  • Select 'Standing order' and choose the one you want to cancel
  • Select 'Cancel standing order'
  • Confirm the cancellation.

To cancel a standing order in the mobile app

Log in and follow these 5 steps:

  • Select 'Pay & Transfer'
  • Select the account you wish to view
  • Select 'View or delete scheduled payments'
  • Choose the standing order you want to cancel
  • Select 'Cancel this payment'.
