If we have a mobile number registered for you, we'll send you overdraft text alerts when you go into or are about to go into an arranged or unarranged overdraft. We'll also send alerts if you have payments due that may not get paid.
We will only ever send you one overdraft text alert per day, per account, and we will attempt to send it to you between 8:00am and 10:00am. There may be circumstances where we are unable to successfully send you a message, such as, if your mobile phone is switched off, your phone is in flight mode or you are out of a network area. In these circumstances we will re-attempt to send you the message until 15 minutes before the time you have to pay in sufficient funds.
An overdraft text alert can be sent daily, with the exception of Sundays and some bank holidays.
