What will happen with continuous card payments/recurring transactions when switching?

If you have arranged to make recurring payments using your old account debit card number, your old bank won’t know your new current account debit card number so won’t be able to transfer these payments over.

This means that payment requests sent to your old account will not be redirected. The supplier may contact you to request the details of your new current account debit card. We recommend that you contact the supplier to set up a new recurring payment to ensure any service you receive is not interrupted.
