We've made our mobile banking app even better

We’re always looking at ways we can help our customers whilst banking on the go with the ethical bank of 150 years. That’s why back in November 2022 we released our carefully redesigned mobile app making it quicker and simpler to use.

So, what’s new?

Improved navigation and a fresh new look to your accounts pages

New, easy to use navigation icons at the bottom of the screen allow you to get to where you want to be even quicker – whether you want to make a payment, view our products, or get help and support.

Redesigned accounts pages provide a clearer view of all of your accounts. For current accounts, available balance is now displayed more prominently as we know our customers use this the most.  

We also now display the total amount of any pending card transactions on your account. These are card transactions that have been authorised but haven’t debited your account yet. The available balance displayed has already subtracted these. For credit cards, we’ve changed the order of transactions so you’ll see the most recent appear first.

New ‘share account details’ feature

Reduce the risk of giving someone incorrect account details with this new feature; send your account details to one of your contacts directly from the app.

To do this:

  1. Select the account you want to make the payments from
  2. Select ‘Account Information’
  3. Select ‘Share account details’
  4. Choose how you want to send your details and who to.

Making payments easier

We’ve made improvements to your experience when you minimise the app in the background to do something else on your device, so you don’t have to log back in each time. If you want to make sure you log out straight away, without waiting for the automatic log out, you can select ‘Log out’ from the ‘More’ menu. Some devices that are older or have a smaller amount of memory may not be compatible with this feature.


You can use your fingerprint or facial recognition to access our mobile app even more securely.

Before you can use the app, you'll need to register for online banking. This can be done within the app.

To register you'll need to have a current account, savings account or credit card. For verification you'll also need your mobile or email address.
