1. Change of Signatories and Authorised Users

Choose from the options below to view how you can change the signatories or authorised users on your account.

Please note: it can take up to 8 working days for us to process your request.

To add or change the signatories or authorised users on your account, complete our Change of Account Signatories and Authorised Users PDF and email it to changeofsignatories@co-operativebank.co.uk or post it to the address on the form.

If you only want to remove a signatory from your account, you can send a letter, signed in accordance with your account mandate, to changeofsignatories@co-operativebank.co.uk.

Please note: if the account is a partnership account, the outgoing signatory must sign the letter. If the account is not a partnership account, the outgoing signatory must sign the letter or you must let us know why their signature cannot be provided. We may require additional information from you depending on your circumstances.

If you only want to remove an authorised user from your account, you can send a letter, signed in accordance with your account mandate, to changeofsignatories@co-operativebank.co.uk.

2. Change of Business or Organisation Name

To change the name of your business or organisation on your account, complete our Change of Business or Organisation Name PDF and email it to changeofsignatories@co-operativebank.co.uk or post it to the address on the form.

3. Business Debit Card Application

To apply for a debit card for yourself or one of your staff, complete our Business Debit Card Application PDF, scan it and email it to changeofsignatories@co-operativebank.co.uk or post it to the address on the form.

4. Business Online Banking Application

To register for Business Online Banking, complete our Business Online Banking Application PDF and email it to bascomms@co-operativebank.co.uk or post it to the address on the form.

Alternatively, you can call us on 03457 213 213. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 12pm. Call charges apply.

Please note: this form cannot be used to add additional users to an existing Business Online Banking account. To add additional users, please call on 03457 213 213. Call charges apply.

5. Financial Director (FD) Online Application

FD Online provides all the advantages of our Business Online Banking service, plus the added benefits of:

  • non-signatory users
  • Bulk BACS
  • complex secondary payment approval
  • administrator controlled user access
  • management of billing invoice notifications within your profile section.

To apply for FD Online, complete the form below, scan it and email it to fdonline@co-operativebank.co.uk or post it to the address provided on the form. Please review the FD Online tariff below to view the charges for this service and decide if it could be beneficial to your business.

Please note: our Business Banking App is not currently available for FD Online customers.

6. Lending Budget Form

You may be required to download, complete and share our Lending Budget Form with your lending advisor as part of your lending assessment. Your lending advisor will instruct you on how to submit the completed form.

Please note: the Lending Budget Form is in Excel format. Clicking the above link will download an Excel document.

7. Account Closure

We’re sorry that you wish to close your account with us.

Please choose from the options below to view how you can close your account. This will depend on the number of signatories required as per your account mandate.

If you want to discuss your account closure further, or tell us how we can improve our services, please call us on 03457 213 213. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 12 noon. Call charges apply.

Please note: it can take up to 5 business days for us to process your account closure request.

Please note: we cannot close your account if it still has money in it. If you have ensured that there is no money left in the account, please complete our online Account Closure Form.

If your reason for closing the account is not listed on the form, please choose the reason that is most applicable to you.
