What's the difference between a standing order and a recurring payment?
If you set up a regular payment on Business Online Banking, we call this a 'recurring payment'.
If you set up a regular payment over the phone, we call this a 'standing order'.
The key difference is that you can only cancel/amend recurring payments online. Amendments to standing orders need to be requested over the phone.
