Your feedback is shaping the future of our new mobile banking app
04 April 2019
Recently we updated our mobile banking app. We wanted to simplify the registration journey for new users, and have added the ability to save and pay a new payee from within the app itself. We are always making improvements by listening to your feedback, so that you can bank the way you want to.
Add new payee functionality
The new payee functionality means you can make a payment to someone new in our mobile banking app without needing your card reader. You’ll still be able to make as many one-off payments as you like in a 24-hour period, up to a combined total of £250. What’s more, you’re able to choose which payees are saved, so it’s easier for you to make repeat payments to them in the future. You will also have the option to add a reference to your payment.
We’re working on delivering the features you want in our mobile banking app, in the order you want them. It’s no understatement to say your feedback is crucial in this process. It helps us to prioritise what new features to build, and the order in which to build them. Our plans are not set in stone, and we’re looking to refine and update on a regular basis to make sure we’re listening and learning with you in mind.

Upcoming features in our mobile banking app
We’ve already started work on our next mobile banking app feature, after you asked us to make it easier to manage your planned payments. So, we’ll soon be bringing you the ability to view and delete your direct debits, standing orders and future dated payments in a future update.
