You can make an electronic transfer from your account held with us or another provider using the details below.

You are able to set up a standing order using these details to ensure regular payments are deposited to your Britannia account, or alternatively contact us to set up a Direct Debit.

To make a card payment, please call our contact centre on 0800 132 304 and we will be happy to take a debit card payment over the phone. For information about our call charges click here.

Payments made over the phone cannot exceed £25,000.

Pay in with a cheque

You can pay cheques into your account in branch or by post.

To pay in a cheque, please make sure that the cheque is payable to yourself as the account holder. Cheques can also be paid to Britannia re: “Your Name”.

We cannot accept cheques payable only to Britannia. The cheque must feature your name.

If you’re sending a cheque by post, please send us your passbook and/or your account number where applicable, as well as your address.

Pay in with cash

You can deposit cash into your account in any of our Co-operative Bank branches. Use our branch locator to find the branch that’s nearest to you.

We advise you to use the branch when you pay in cash. You should never send cash through the post.
