US structured payment

A US structured payment is a cost-effective way of sending US dollars to the United States.

There is no limit on the amount you can send, subject to the funds being available in your account.

Payments will usually arrive within 4 business days. If your payment is urgent we recommend using a SWIFT payment.

Make a US structured payment

To make a US structured payment you'll need to provide us with:

  • beneficiary name and account number
  • name and address of the receiving bank
  • Fedwire/Routing/ABA code - 9 digits
  • SWIFT/BIC code where applicable. Payments to banks without a SWIFT/BIC code can only be requested over the phone.

You'll also need to agree to the declaration below:

We may need to disclose limited information to third parties where reasonably necessary. This is for the purposes of the prevention and detection of crime, prosecution of offenders, for the purposes of national security or where required by law. This may mean that the information could be transferred to countries that do not provide the same level of data protection as the UK.
