How long do I have to credit my account if there are insufficient funds to pay my cheque?

A key change we are making from 30th October 2017 is you will have until 2pm to credit your account where there are insufficient funds available to pay a cheque. Prior to 30th October the cut-off for doing this is 3pm. This change impacts all cheques whether processed via the existing clearing system or digitally through the new Image Clearing System.
