If I don't want to use a Card Reader will I still be able to use Online Banking?

You will still be able to access online banking without your card reader, but there are a number of transactions you will be unable to carry out such as:

  1. Setting up or amending standing orders
  2. Setting up payments to someone new
  3. Adding or amending personal contact details

You will still be able to carry out these transactions by telephone and in branch.

Alternatively, you can download our mobile app where you can save and pay a new payee, pay a saved payee, transfer money between your Co-operative Bank accounts, make a payment direct to your Co-operative Bank credit card and make a one off payment up to the value of £250 in a 24 hour period, all without having to use a card reader.
