  • How does the Bank of England base rate affect my savings?

    If your savings account is a tracker account, you’ll be paid an interest rate directly linked to the Bank of England base rate. Variable rate savings accounts typically follow the Bank of England base rate which means your rate is not guaranteed to stay the same. Fixed rate accounts are not affected by any changes to the Bank of England base rate during the term of the product.
