How do I add an additional cardholder to my credit card?

You can apply to add an additional cardholder in the following ways:

Online

  1. Log in to online banking.
  2. Select the account for which you want to add a joint cardholder e.g. Balance Transfer Credit Card
  3. Check that the additional cardholder meets our eligibility criteria. These are listed on the application page.
  4. Enter the additional cardholder’s details as prompted on screen. You may be prompted for extra security.
  5. Check the details are correct and press Confirm.
  6. Once submitted, we’ll process your additional cardholder application. We’ll send you a secure message to let you know if the application has been accepted. If accepted, the additional cardholder will receive their card within 5-7 working days.

By post

  1. Print off an additional cardholder application form (credit card mandate form)
  2.  Check that the additional cardholder meets our eligibility criteria. These are listed on the application form.
  3. Enter the additional cardholder’s details.
  4. Sign and return the application to:

Broadway,
Salford Quays,
Manchester M50 2UE.

Once received, we’ll process your additional cardholder application and send you a letter to let you know if the application has been accepted. If accepted, the additional cardholder will receive their card within 5-7 working days.
