We wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your feedback, and share more about the plans you've shaped over the course of this year. We've looked at the way you use our website, what you like and what you don't like. We've been testing our website so that you, our customers, have had the opportunity to directly influence these developments.
We've recently launched mobile authentication and are currently rolling this out to our customers. This new service allows you to use an app based security token as an alternative to a physical token.
The app has been developed by HID Global, the company that provides our physical security token, and will allow you to:
Our mobile app is right around the corner and you'll soon be able to download, register and use it to help manage your business accounts on the go. You'll be able to view real time balances and transactions for your current and savings accounts and pay saved payees.
You can use the app if you are already set up on online banking, have a business current account, no more than 12 accounts in total and you don't have anyone set up as an approver of changes like approval of payments.
Soon we'll be launching one day account opening, making it easier for sole traders and single directors to have new accounts opened with us in one day.
Over the coming months we'll be making similar changes to the application process for other types of businesses. For now please continue to apply as normal.
We are aiming to make our online banking channel as smooth as possible and that's why we are continuously taking on board your feedback and working hard to make improvements.
Over the coming months, we are looking to upgrade our online banking platform which allows us to introduce a new facility related to Open Banking and improve navigation making it easier for you to make payments and view transactions.
We've partnered with Xero to allow you to automatically import your business account bank statements to their accounting software, making life that little bit easier.
