Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture

Medical Foundation logo

Since it began in 1985, the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture has cared for thousands of torture survivors from more than 100 countries who have sought refuge in the United Kingdom.

Services include individual and group therapy, housing and legal advice, and helping families, men, women and children to become survivors of torture and not remain its victims.

With the bank’s donation, the Medical Foundation will continue its work to empower survivors and give them a voice to directly express what they have endured. By undertaking training in human rights and outreach work, it will enable survivors to be heard, and campaign against those who evade the ban on torture.
