If something unexpected has happened and you need to make a claim on your Co-operative car or home insurance, simply call the Co-operative Insurance claims line on:

Remember, we’ll do our utmost to handle your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible and we’ll:

  • Strive to respond to your claim within 24 hours
  • Respond to all correspondence within 5 working days
  • Issue settlement cheques within 24 hours of receiving the required documentation
  • Save you hassle and worry at every stage.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
For existing claims lines are open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm.

Life or health insurance

If you need to make a claim on a Co-operative life or health insurance policy, simply call our UK based Customer Contact Centre on:

We will endeavour do our utmost to handle your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible and will aim to:

  • Respond to your claim within 5 business days
  • Issue settlement cheques within 5 business days of us accepting your claim.

Our Customer Contact Centre lines are open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Income protection

If you need to make a claim on a Co-operative income protection insurance policy, simply call our UK based Customer Contact Centre on:

We will endeavour do our utmost to handle your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible and will:

  • A request for a claim pack will be issued by the next working day.
  • Following return of your claim pack medical evidence will be obtained to assess your claim.
  • If your claim is accepted, payment will be made within 5 working days.
