The Co-operative Bank Purchasing Card is a sophisticated and cost-effective payment system. It can help your organisation to cut down on paperwork by removing the need to issue purchasing orders and invoices, while retaining internal controls and meeting Central Government targets on payment timescales.
The Co-operative Bank Purchasing Card:
- allows you to control card and transaction limits
- allows you to restrict the spending of nominated internal departments and merchant category groups (e.g. stationery suppliers)
- gives you access to comprehensive reports that can be used to reclaim VAT
- simplifies your repayment process – one bill rather than hundreds
- reduces administration costs.
*Cash advances are subject to a 2% handling charge and a foreign currency commission charge of 2.75%, if appropriate, and are dependent on the cardholder's credit limit and any local currency restrictions.
