We have invested in robust security systems and we've been accredited by the British Standards Institution to ISO27001* for our Internet Banking channel. The channel is the bit that keeps your banking secure.
So you can see we're going to great lengths to protect you. We've outlined some more things we do to keep you safe online;
- you choose your own personal Security Code and 5 pieces of secure personal information, without which your account can't be accessed
- sophisticated security systems are built in at every level from your browser through to the operating system and there are new encryption keys created every time you do your banking with us
- we use cookies to add another layer of security to protect you when you're banking
- all your online transactions are protected by the leading digital ID certificate issuer Verisign
- we are constantly monitoring all transactions to protect you against fraud
- The Bank's security is continually being reviewed and updated as new technologies come on stream
- we will never send an email to you with a link to a login page or an email that asks for your account or security information.
We're so confident in our systems that we've got a no risk policy.
Top Tip:
Protect your ID
Invest in an inexpensive shredder to destroy any receipts, bills, bank statements and even junk mail that would you wouldn't want other people getting their hands on.
