Easy ways to send money abroad from either an Offshore Current or Pathfinder Worldwide account
We offer four ways to send money overseas - S.W.I.F.T. Bank Drafts, CHAPS EURO & Structured Payment.
S.W.I.F.T is faster. It's an electronic message service which enables payments to be effected in all major currencies to virtually every destination in the world
Bank Drafts are useful if you need to forward payment with a letter or invoice - such as when you are reserving accommodation or buying something by mail order.
CHAPS EURO is an electronic transfer to countries in the European Union. Any amount of Euros can be transferred at a standard cost of £25, it's fast with funds usually being credited within 2 working days, subject to the banking practices of overseas countries and European Bank Holidays. We need an IBAN (International Bank Account Number) and BIC (Bank Identification Number) to make a payment.
Structured Payment is a low value payment service which can be used to transfer amounts of up to 50,000 Euros to accounts held with Banks within European Union countries. The cost is only £8 and it takes up to 2 working days for the payment to reach the beneficiary account. We need an IBAN and BIC to make a payment. Without an IBAN and BIC, the payment may be rejected and/or additional charges incurred.
