Property Search
Now that you've worked out your budget and with any luck, begun to generate some interest in your home, you're ready to start looking for a new home.
There are several ways to do this:
- Online looking for your new home online is quick, easy and convenient. Most estate agents have websites which will allow you to search for properties by postcode and price. However, you should remember that some estate agents don't update the information on their websites as regularly as their shop windows. There are also a number of sites which consolidate all of the houses for sale in your chosen area and allow you to browse a selection of homes by postcode and price.
- At estate agents visit your local estate agents to view their homes for sale displays and ask for details of houses that interest you. You should be able to arrange viewings there and then, and register your details so that the agents can send you details of any new properties that come onto the market within your preferred area and price range.
- Local newspapers look in the property sections of local newspapers.
