NEW LOOK CO-OPERATIVE BANK BRANCH OFFICIALLY OPENS IN LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE

  • New location as the branch moves to Parker Street and is open to customers.

The Co-operative Bank has relocated its Liverpool branch with a new look and feel and enhanced features for customers.

The new branch is located on the corner of Parker Street in the centre of the city and was officially opened with a ribbon cutting event on Monday, 10th April, 2017.

At the event, long standing customer Steve Baker cut the ribbon alongside the branch staff and Co-operative Bank’s Head of Branch Network, Mortgages and Business Banking, Paul Denton. A customer of the bank since 1983, Mr Baker was nominated by the branch staff to take part and celebrate the successful relocation of the branch.

Speaking of the branch opening, Head of Branch Network, Mortgages and Business Banking Paul Denton said: “The new branch is in a prime location in Liverpool city centre and colleagues have told us they’ve already noticed an increased interest as passers-by call in to find out more about our products and services.

“Our branch network remains an integral part of our overall customer service offer.  We are redesigning and modernising our branches as customers look to use the branch for more complex face to face conversations.

“We are also continuing to invest in our digital offering to provide customers with new, innovative ways to service their accounts.”

Customer Steve Baker commented on the new branch, said: “The new branch is much more prominent and accessible than the previous branch and gladly the staff haven't changed and are still as friendly and helpful as they have always been.”

The new look branch includes an internal and external ATM, automated teller cash recycler counters; to allow staff to have conversations with customers more easily, and in-branch access to iPads for customers to access online banking services.
