How to apply

The Co-operative Bank offers a fully advised mortgage service.
We can help you to find a Britannia or Co-operative Bank mortgage for you so why not call us on 0800 234 6761

What to expect

At your mortgage appointment, one of our specialist mortgage advisers will discuss with you your income and outgoings, and advise you on how much we may be able to lend you.

We'll then advise you on the product from our mortgage range that best suits your needs.

The next step is to get a Key Facts illustration which shows the monthly payment, features, fees and charges of your mortgage. This helps you to compare your mortgage with others from different lenders.

When you're ready to apply

Once you're ready to make your mortgage application, make sure you take original copies of:

  • Your last three months' payslips plus your latest full month's bank statement, if you're employed
  • Your last two years' accounts, your last two years tax assessments forms (SA302) plus your latest full months bank statement, if you're self employed
  • Proof of identity such as your passport
  • Proof of your address such as a utility bill addressed to you at your current address
  • A Direct Debit mandate so they can take repayments from your bank.
