How to register

Register for internet banking

Download the app from the relevant app store and register your smartphone for use. Before you can start using the app, you’ll need to be registered for internet banking. You can register for internet banking by calling 0800 590 483^. It only takes a few minutes and you'll be registered instantly.

Request an activation code

An activation code will then be sent to you by text message, you'll then need to enter this in the mobile banking app.

Register a mobile banking passcode

For security reasons, you’ll need to register a 6 digit passcode which is different to your usual internet and telephone banking security code.

Enter your account details and confirm security

You'll be asked for 2 digits of your internet banking security and one of your five pieces of secure personal information, just like when you log on to your internet banking. Make sure nobody is looking over your shoulder when entering your personal and security information. Remember, we will never ask for your full security code or all of your secure personal information.

Cost and charges

We will not charge you for using the mobile banking app on your smartphone.

Your mobile phone network provider may charge you for use of data services depending on your tariff and inclusive data allowance. If you do not have any inclusive mobile data, standard data download charges may apply. Please check your tariff and any data limits with your provider.

If you access mobile banking using Wifi, Wifi charges may be applied. Please check with your Wifi provider.

We will not charge you for text alerts. 

Most mobile networks will not charge you to receive messages from us. If you are unsure, please check with your network provider.

If you are travelling abroad, you may be charged by your network provider for receiving text alerts. Please check with your network provider. You can cancel the service before travelling by texting STOP to 87212 or by changing the text alert settings in the app.
