What you'll need

  • How much you earn, including benefits, pension, etc.
  • If you're applying for a joint account, you will need the above information for your partner and their consent.
  • Any previous addresses from the last 3 years.
  • The name and address of your employer.
  • How much you spend on bills each month.

To apply, you need to be:

  • Aged 16 or over, or 18 or over when requesting the optional overdraft.
  • An EU resident.
  • Not subject to any County Court Judgments (CCJs).
  • Free from having been declared bankrupt or missed 2+ payments on any credit agreement in the last 6 years.

Approval is based on a credit check, an assessment of your personal circumstances and is subject to status.
